Securing a Luxurious Family Home in Hunters Hill or the Upper North Shore

Background

Our clients, a family seeking a spacious and luxurious home to accommodate their multigenerational needs, came to us with a significant budget and high expectations. They sought a property that would comfortably house parents, children, and grandparents, offering both privacy, prestige and communal spaces. Their search was focused on the prestigious areas of Sydney's North Shore and its surrounding suburbs.

Challenges

The primary challenge was finding a property that met the unique needs of a multigenerational family within their specified budget. The North Shore and surrounding areas, known for their exclusive and tightly-held properties, presented an additional challenge due to the limited availability of homes fitting our clients' criteria. Furthermore, our clients were particular about the style and layout of the home, desiring both modern amenities and a classic architectural appeal. In additional, given the high-end nature of these properties, the vast majority of them are confidential, and can only be accessed through an exclusive network of local agents and contacts.

To meet these challenges, we leveraged our extensive network and deep knowledge of the North Shore market and its surrounding suburbs. Over the course of a year, we identified and presented over 15 on-brief off-market properties between the $15m-$25m range that were not known to any other buyers. This approach ensured our clients had access to exclusive properties that other buyers were unaware of, streamlining their search process by opening doors otherwise unknown to other buyers. We conducted thorough inspections, assessments, and negotiations to find the perfect match for their needs.

Outcome

Our persistent and strategic efforts culminated in the successful acquisition of a stunning trophy estate in Hunters Hill set on almost 2000sqm of North-facing land. The residence, a beautifully renovated property with ample space for all family members, tennis court, guest house and water views, provided the ideal blend of luxury, comfort, and functionality.
